How much is a taxi from Bucharest Otopeni Airport to the city centre?
A private transfer from Bucharest Otopeni Airport (OTP) to the city starts at 28€ per car, not per person. The price is fixed when you book and does not change with traffic, time of day or the number of passengers. Where do I meet my driver at the airport?
In the arrivals hall. Your driver waits inside the terminal holding a board with your name on it, so you do not have to find a rank, queue or agree a fare with anyone. His phone number is in your confirmation email as well.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car, always. Four people travelling together pay exactly what one traveller pays for the same vehicle. Choose the car by how many of you there are and how much luggage you have — capacities are shown on every route page.
Do I pay anything extra — booking fee, luggage, night rate?
No. There is no booking fee, no charge for luggage within the allowance shown for the vehicle, and no night or weekend surcharge. The only optional extras are a child seat (+5€) and a booster seat (+5€), which you tick on the booking form.
How do I pay?
Three ways, and you choose on the booking form: cash to the driver, card to the driver, or card online when you book. Paying online costs the same and gets you a written confirmation immediately.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Give us your flight number when you book — that is how we identify your arrival. If anything changes, or you want to be certain before you fly, call or WhatsApp +40 745 460 010; the line is answered 24 hours a day.
Can I cancel or change my booking?
Yes. Cancel in writing more than 2 hours before your pick-up time and you pay nothing. Changes to the date, time, number of passengers or address are also free within that window, and must be made in writing.
How many passengers and suitcases fit?
Up to 7 passengers in a Mercedes Vito or Viano minibus, with luggage space to match. Smaller groups have the choice of a saloon, an estate or an executive car. Each vehicle on a route page lists its passenger and suitcase limit — book the size that fits, and nobody travels with a case on their lap.
Do you have child seats?
Yes. Child seats and booster seats are 5€ and 5€ each and are requested on the booking form. Tell us the child's age in the message if you are not sure which one you need.
Do you drive to other cities in Romania?
Yes — Brasov, Constanta and Mamaia, Sinaia and Predeal, Sibiu, Craiova, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Iasi, Galati, Braila, Buzau, Focsani and Tulcea, in both directions. All of them are on the prices page with a fixed fare. If your destination is not listed, ask us and we will quote it.
Can I book a return transfer?
Yes. Book the return leg as its own transfer — every route page links to the same trip in the opposite direction — or tell us both legs in one message and we will set them up together.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as you know your flight. Booking ahead is what guarantees a car of the right size with a driver waiting for you by name, particularly for groups needing a minibus, for very early or very late arrivals, and in the summer season.
Is a transfer better than a taxi rank or a ride-hailing app?
It is a different thing: the price is agreed before you fly, the car is booked for your arrival, and the driver is inside the terminal with your name rather than somewhere in a car park. There is no queue, no meter, no surge multiplier and no negotiation after a long flight.
