Carpathians Treasures

About 10 hours 9am to roughly 7pm Two castles

We leave around 9am for Peles Castle, the summer residence of King Carol I and one of the most beautiful buildings in Europe — a local guide takes you through the inside.

Fifty kilometres further on is Bran Castle, known everywhere as Dracula's Castle, and used as a location in Interview with the Vampire. The setting does most of the work.

The last stop is Brasov, where you have two hours for lunch and the Black Church — the largest Gothic church east of Vienna. We are back in the city around 7pm.
